Hello future scientists, I am your Uncle Globe. I am back again with new interesting informations. Today we will learn about “Time and Dimension”. Let’s start.

Friends, all of you know that the world we see is a 3 dimensional place. It’s partially true. Because we see the world as three dimensional place but it’s actually a  four dimensional place. You see, everything has Length, Width and Height, these 3 are called the “Three Dimension”. But there is another dimension that we can’t see but it’s always there, and that is Time. The Time is the 4^th pillar in the four dimension. You may ask, how something we can’t see, like time, is a part of dimensions. Let me explain to you.

Suppose someone told you to meet at 12^th floor of a building. How will you go there? Simple, you will use the roads, where you are using two parts of the three dimensions, length and width. At last, you will use the lift to go to the 12^th floor of that building. Now you should meet that person, right? No, there is a problem. That man didn’t told you the time to meet, so if that man wanted you to meet him 4 pm and you go there at 6 pm, you can’t meet him. So, you need a time, so you need a 4^th pillar in the dimensions, which is going to make it a 4^th dimensional world. Now you can say we live in a 4 Dimensional world.

So, you learn a new thing, which is ”Time is the 4^th dimension”. Friends, you obviously heard one thing that the time never stops. But, do you know that time can get slow. Time slows when there is more gravity. Famous scientist Sir Albert Einstein’s “Theory of Relativity” shows that, the higher the gravity is, the slower the time gets.
